Hi everybody, Paul Cameron here from SpeedUpMyJobSearch.com, and in the next 5 minutes I’m going to give you 5 proven tips that will help you to find the right position for you. And I’m saving the best 2 for last, so stick around; it will be worth your time.

Please understand that this site is NOT a job search 101 class. I’m not here to help you find a survival job, or a minimum wage job. I’m talking about career positions, regardless of your current circumstance or work history.

This is about using the tactics that the best professional headhunters out there are using. We’re not spraying resumes to every job posting on the internet. We’re taking strategic steps to fill positions at targeted companies.

Do you know what the best part is about these tactics? It’s that anybody can do this! I have Senior Executives who have used these tactics and landed, and my own Administrative Assistant who’s been with me for 5 years used these tactics when we recently moved our office and she needed to stay closer to home for her family. Within 30 days she had an offer from a FORTUNE 300 company in the same suburb of Chicago that she lives in, and she turned it down for a better offer even closer to home, 4 minutes away! Another person whose been looking for a job for 7 years, on day 26 of being a member of this site accepted an offer. This really works!

But let’s get to the 5 tips I promised.

Tip #1: Check out the job board on this site. There are more than 1,600 jobs posted on there, none of those jobs are more than 90 days old, and all of them are so urgent that professional headhunters like myself have been hired to fill them. These are going to fill fast. If nothing fits for you right now, set up an alert for yourself so you’ll get email when the right position opens up. And don’t forget to upload your resume so that any of the more than 350 member recruiting firms across the country can contact you about real job openings.

Tip #2: Go to the blog on this site, scroll down until you find one called “Tactics to Find Hidden Jobs, it’s Not Luck” and watch the video that goes with that blog. It’s just 5 minutes, and I show you where you can find thousands of jobs online that are NOT being advertised anywhere. They’re sitting in corporate databases that you can search, if you know where to look.

I’m a professional headhunter. I’ve been finding job openings and then teaching the candidates I find for them how to beat their competition to land those jobs, since 1998. Speed is my specialty, and on right side of the screen here you’ll see some of the places I’ve been recognized and quoted, and it’s because these strategies work.

Job search isn’t about luck or marketing conditions, it’s a skill that you can learn. I can show you how.

Tip #3: Have a plan for yourself every day. And I’ll tell you if you don’t, no one is going to care, no one is going to check up on you to see if you have a plan, no one is going to say, “Oh, man, I can’t believe you’re not planned for today.” You know why? Because the only person who’s going to have to live the results of you not having a plan is you! Your preparation today, determines the outcome tomorrow. You can’t wing this. From 6-7am do this, from 12-1pm do this, from 6-8pm do this, on Saturday do this. Or if you’re unemployed you can lay out a 50 hour week plan if you want, and the planner will outline what you need to do each day in that time.

Of course my planner includes networking, which everyone knows is the most effective way to find job, but how do you do it? I’ll walk you through precisely what I do for every networking event, from a week in advance, through all of the necessary follow up afterwards to maximize your results. I even give you a formula to help you determine how to build trust and rapport through the SUBJECTS of your conversations. If you really get nervous about networking, knowing statistically that what you’re saying has a high probability of building trust and rapport and very low risk blowing up in your face, you’ll be more confident when you go to your next event.
